ERG Leadership Alliance
2027 ERG Trends
What have the organizations getting better at ERGs figured out?
Why Attend
  • See where ERG programs stand right now, based on ELA’s 2026 research across our global community
  • Learn the operating practices that set the most advanced programs apart: governance, succession, leadership development and measurement
  • Leave with the forces we expect to shape ERGs in 2027, in time to shape your 2027 priorities
Who should attend: ERG oversight and program managers, ERG leaders and co-chairs, executive sponsors, and HR/DEI leaders planning for 2027.
Format: Live, virtual, 60 minutes, including time for questions.
If the last two years were supposed to push ERGs to the sidelines, that isn’t what happened. ELA’s 2026 research found that 98% of ERG programs expect the number of groups they support to hold steady or grow.

The programs furthest along aren’t the ones with splashier events or more ERGs. The difference is in how they operate: how they govern, plan succession, develop leaders, measure results, and decide where limited time and resources go.

We’ll unpack what the data shows, what we’re seeing emerge across our community, and what it means for your program in 2027.

  • Hear the historical research and lived experience behind the film directly from creator Lisa Cordileone
  • Join a conversation with ERG leaders across organizations about identity, belonging, and how history still shapes the workplace today
Who should attend: ERG leaders, members and allies, especially those in LGBTQ+ ERGs or planning heritage and history programming.
Format: Live, virtual, 60 minutes. A 12-minute screening followed by a facilitated discussion.
Join ERG Leadership Alliance and Endwell Studio for a special virtual screening of COMMITTED, a historical suspense drama inspired by the largely untold events surrounding the Lavender Scare in 1950s Washington, D.C.

When a secret government investigation puts one mother's family under scrutiny, her story reveals how fear and suspicion shaped lives, careers and communities far beyond the people directly targeted.

Following the screening, creator Lisa Cordileone will share the historical research and lived experience behind the film, opening a conversation among ERG leaders about identity, belonging and the histories that connect our communities.
