The Certification Process
Join the Oversight Managers Group OMG (prerequisite)
OMG Membership is required before beginning the Oversight Excellence Certification. The community, resources, and peer context of OMG are foundational to the certification work. Once enrolled, you then purchase your certification to begin the process.

Complete the Oversight Excellence Rubric™
Work through ELA's proprietary rubric independently, documenting your current state and plans across Align, Engage, Equip and Elevate. You may request a 30-minute pre- or post-submission consult with an ELA expert.
Submit your completed Rubric
Your submission is reviewed by an ELA expert. One consultation and one resubmission opportunity are available if gaps are identified before final determination.
Receive your credential
Printable certificate and digital badge for professional use. Recognized across the global OMG network as validated oversight competency.
