Zary: Roger was able to identify a strong leader to commit to leading a new group.
ELA: What impact did Roger have on you with this specific action?
Zary: Roger encouraged and empowered me and the cochair to lead this group (we both have disabilities so strong representation).
ELA: What impact did this have on others?
Zary: This helped mobilized Disability ERG at Mass General Brigham (our system wide hospital network) and helped us put a mission plan together for the team.
ELA: Why was this action unique or especially challenging to accomplish?
Zary: It’s hard to identify employees with disabilities unless there is an environment that is safe and empowering.
